Import your data
Brainstorm is only useful with your knowledge in it. There are importers for the common sources, and because everything lands as typed objects, imported content is immediately linkable, searchable, and automatable — not a read-only archive.
From Notion
Section titled “From Notion”Connect your Notion account and pull pages straight across — no export file to download first. Pages arrive as clean notes; you can also import a Markdown export if you’d rather not connect the account.
From Anytype
Section titled “From Anytype”The Anytype importer brings your objects across with their files — pasted screenshots included. Tasks and bookmarks become real Tasks and Bookmarks rather than plain notes, and imported notes keep their titles. Imports run in the background with progress and cancel.
From CSV
Section titled “From CSV”Database imports CSV with type inference — point it at a spreadsheet export and you get a typed List with real properties, ready for views, filters, and formulas.
Files and media
Section titled “Files and media”Drag files in from your file manager, or upload through the OS picker — bytes, MIME type, size, and hash included. Every file becomes a vault object you can link, tag, and preview. See Files.
From the web
Section titled “From the web”The built-in Browser clips any page into a Bookmark with its readable content attached, and files you download in it save straight into your vault.
